To our valued friends and clients,

We have been feeling very blessed to be able to return to work and continue serving this community that we love. Thank you for your continued support during these interesting times!

There has been a very high demand at the office for appointments for new patients, or for people who have not received care with us previously. We are not accepting new patients for massage therapy at this time, and there is a 2-3 week wait time for an Initial Appointment with our chiropractors. We are not currently accepting online booking for New Patients, and ask that they please call the office to schedule an appointment.

We are committed to following guidelines and safety procedures as outlined by our governing bodies, and by the Provincial Health Officer. Unfortunately, this means limiting the number of people in the office and spacing between appointments to allow for proper cleaning and social distancing measures. For these reasons, appointment times for new patients in our office are limited.

We apologize for this inconvenience, and will continue to do everything in our power to adapt to these changes, and offer care to those in need, as safely and effectively as possible.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any concerns or questions.

Warmest regards,
The NuVista Team

Kinesiology Taping and Rocktape

Kinesiology tape, which is different from traditional athletic tape, can be used in conjunction with treatment to help decrease pain and promote tissue healing.  Kinesiotape works by lifting the skin away from the underlying muscle and fascia, which reduces swelling by localized decompression.  Additionally, the tape provides input to the central nervous system, which provides feedback to decrease pain and cue proper form.

Rock Tape

There are several different brands of K-Tape, though we typically prefer to use RockTape in our office.

Kinesiology tape application is useful for

  • IT Band Syndrome
  • Low Back Pain
  • Shoulder Impingement
  • Rotator Cuff Injuries
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Golfer’s Elbow
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Knee Injuries/Chronic Knee Pain
  • Achilles Tendonitis
  • Postural Correction
  • Pain During Pregnancy

Our chiropractors have extensive training and experience incorporating Kinesiology Tape into their treatments. Book your appointment today to see if this treatment is right for you.
